Call on Mikao Usui, founder of the Reiki healing system, for support and assistance in the practice of Reiki.
Reiki is unique to each person. Each person’s experience with Reiki may be different since we all exhibit differing needs. One person may feel a warm flow of energy, resulting in deep relaxation. Another may experience visions of colors, insights or images. Some may feel a tingling sensation, similar to tiny electrical pulses. Stay open to how Reiki flows in your unique way.
Practice Gassho Meditation. Place your total concentration at the place where both middle fingers meet. Maintain your attention on this point throughout your meditation. Check out The Reiki Journey CD or MP3 for a guided Gassho meditation.
Even though we use the words “send Reiki” remember that the person receiving Reiki is drawing the energy to them. When offering Reiki, simply hold the space and allow Reiki to balance the areas where too much or too little energy exists.
Kenyoku Ho means ‘take a bath without water’ or ‘dry bathing’ in Japanese.
